The Palladium Announces Star-Studded 2026 Concert Season
CARMEL, IN — The Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts unveiled its most ambitious concert lineup yet for the 2026 season, featuring Grammy-winning artists and world-renowned performers that promise to draw music lovers from across the Midwest to Carmel's City Center.
The announcement, made Tuesday morning at the venue's Main Street location, includes confirmed performances by jazz legend Wynton Marsalis, pop sensation Billie Eilish, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in a special collaboration with Broadway star Idina Menzel. The season will run from March through December 2026, with ticket sales beginning February 1st for Palladium members and February 8th for the general public.
"This represents our most diverse and exciting season to date," said Michael Feinstein, Artistic Director of the Center for the Performing Arts. "We've carefully curated a lineup that spans generations and genres, ensuring there's something extraordinary for every music enthusiast in our community and beyond."
The season opener on March 14th will feature a sold-out performance by indie rock band The National, followed by a classical series including performances by pianist Lang Lang and violinist Hilary Hahn. The venue's popular jazz series will continue with performances by Diana Krall and Robert Glasper, while the contemporary lineup includes shows by Hozier, Lorde, and a special acoustic evening with Ed Sheeran.
Perhaps the most anticipated event is a three-night residency by John Mayer in October, marking his first Indiana performances in over five years. The shows are expected to sell out quickly, given the Palladium's intimate 1,600-seat capacity that offers an unparalleled concert experience.
The announcement comes as Carmel continues to establish itself as a premier cultural destination in the region. The Palladium, which opened in 2011 as part of the Carter Green development, has hosted over 1,000 performances and welcomed more than 1.5 million patrons since its inception.
"The economic impact on our community is tremendous," said Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard. "These world-class performances not only enrich our cultural landscape but also bring visitors who dine at our restaurants, shop in our boutiques along Range Line Road, and often return for our other attractions like the Monon Greenway and our farmers market."
The venue has also announced expanded parking options, with additional spaces available at the adjacent City Center parking garage and shuttle service from the Carmel High School campus for larger events.
Season subscription packages start at $299 and include priority seating, exclusive pre-show receptions, and discounted parking. Individual ticket prices range from $35 to $150, depending on the performance and seating location.
